The morning after the Christening we opened gifts and mum and dad had bought Poppy this personalised Steiff bear. It was the first thing in the world she has stretched out her arms and made grabby hands for so I had to let her have a cuddle. It may be expensive but mum and I agreed that there is nothing sadder than an eighty year old teddy bear in perfect condition and so like any other teddy this one will be cuddled and played with and careworn through the love of a child so one day Poppy can say this bear was her teddy rather than her ornament. I think she approved of this decision as she was so happy to be allowed it! 🙂 xxxx
